Welcome to Adare! Adare parish in situated partly in the barony of Kenry, partly in the Eastern Division of Upper Connello but chiefly in the barony of Coshma. The village of Adare attracts thousands of tourists each year, with its beautiful thatched cottages and its numerous historical sites. The ancient town of Adare was situated on the eastern bank of the river Maigue, near the castle and the ancient parish church, which are now within the grounds of the Adare Manor Golf Club.
